I took this photo in order to prove that the pin was intact in case the aircraft handlers in Georgia broke it off by cart-towing the aircraft too aggressively. If broken, that pin costs as much as a new Canon 1DsMkII body to replace. When I got home, I decided that I liked the photo for artistic reasons - maybe that's just personal. The exciting technical aspect of this photo is the VERY clean image I got at 1600 ASA after a bit of noise removal. I know this isn't a world shaking photograph, but I enjoy looking at it for personal reasons and I hope you all get something out of it as well.
